These are select poems that I wrote when I first began to write... Enjoy!

Lil’ Imagination
 Rainy Days

In my kitchen,
as I eat fried vegetables,
the rain pours down.
I hear it scream with anger,
and as if the sky is breaking,
the white lightning flashes.
I am frightened,
The sky is as black as a witch's hat.
The lightning, stands out.
I am inside,
warm,
with my pink robe hugging me,
my purple nightcap on,
and blue sweatpants comforting me.
I dislike summer rains,
except-

for my delicious fried vegetables.

The Crying Clothes

Homeless clothes
Hang silently on the fence-
sobbing,
next to the noisy streets of Bombay.
The colors are fading.
Each piece of clothing is different.
It watches its owner beg.
The faint sound of its tears can barely be heard.
I stare at them,
having a feeling of sorrow inside.
